Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been acknowledged as the composer in The One Direction band. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School which is where he formed his own band, composed of three classmates, which was dubbed the White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to beat in the Battle of Bands 2009. Even though he had always had an interest in the music world, despite his passion for it he wanted also to be a lawyer or physical therapist. When he worked at the city's baker Harry Styles managed to support his family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions in The X Factor. The reason for this is that his band was split. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the group that was to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. The group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders for the prize. They came third, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell was a millionaire in a contract for One Direction.
