Suzanne Pleshette
Suzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - - January 19, 2008) was an American theatre, film television, voice actress. 1. Pleshette began her career in the theatre and then began to appear in films towards the end of the 1950s. She then appeared in prominent films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). From 1972 to 1978, Pleshette appeared regularly in a variety of television shows. She also was the character Emily Hartley, which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born on the 31st of January 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer, and choreographer, who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage director of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
